Walking into our store is like popping open a can of confetti — a little wild, a little unexpected, and definitely full of surprises. We’re a lot packed into a small space, but that’s part of the charm. It smells like smoked sausage and good decisions.
We cut steaks to order. We’ve got freezer treasures tucked into every corner, box options to make your life easier, and recipe cards to help you figure out what to do with that random cut of meat you bravely picked up. We source local produce and products whenever we can, and we’re taking steps to be more environmentally responsible — reusable cooler bags are coming soon, so your meat can ride home in style.
Then there’s our processing side — where the magic (and mess) really happens. We specialize in whole animal butchery, which is kind of a dying art these days. Not many folks are learning how to break down an entire animal anymore, and we think that makes what we do pretty special.
We offer 24/7 drop-off for smaller animals (already deceased, please and thank you), and scheduled appointments for domestic livestock. Whether it’s a wild hog or a homegrown steer, we’re set up to handle it — and we do it with care, skill, and a little bone-dust on our boots.
This whole thing started 25 years ago when my dad took a chance on a little deer processing. Since then, we’ve been incredibly lucky — and grateful — to grow into a business that supports not just our family, but our staff, our producers, and our amazing customers.
Now, if you’re new here, we get it — walking into the retail side for the first time can feel like you just wandered into a butcher-themed escape room. You’re not quite sure where to go, and we may look like we’re staring at you (we promise we’re just thinking about brats, not judging you). Take your time. Look around. Ask questions. We’re friendly — and we love to help.
